Eye of Horus & Eye of Ra

The Eye of Horus (left eye) and Eye of Ra (right eye) are distinct but related Egyptian symbols: Horus's eye signifies healing, restoration, and lunar/protection, stemming from myths of being damaged and restored by Thoth; while Ra's eye represents the sun's power, vengeance, and fierce protection, embodied by goddesses like Sekhmet, warding off chaos (Isfet). Both maintain cosmic balance (Ma'at) but through different means—Horus's through wholeness, Ra's through powerful force, used widely as protective amulets.
