Eye of Horus – Original Mixed Media Sculpture

This one-of-a-kind mixed media sculpture reimagines the ancient Eye of Horus as a contemporary symbol of vision, protection, strength, and resilience. Rather than creating a traditional representation, I wanted to build an artwork that invites viewers to explore it layer by layer—revealing new textures, materials, and perspectives with every glance.

The composition combines high-gloss sculptural forms with rich natural elements, including wood, cowhide, and textured surfaces, creating a striking contrast between organic materials and a sleek, modern finish. The dimensional construction extends beyond the frame, blurring the line between sculpture and wall art while adding movement and depth.

At the center, the luminous eye represents awareness and intuition—the ability to see beyond the surface. The surrounding flowing forms symbolize life's continuous evolution, while the handcrafted details celebrate individuality and the beauty found in imperfection.
